FTEA is a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl) Premier Accredited Center, which certifies that FTEA procedures follow the highest standards of safety and best practices in the industry. Through its accreditation process, PATH Intl promotes equine assisted activities for people with special needs in the United States and worldwide. All FTEA instructors are certified through PATH Intl or are working towards this certification.
The program is accessible through affordable participation fees. FTEA depends on the support of program participants, family members, and the community to raise the remaining funds needed to sustain the program. FTEA has a scholarship program to ensure that participation is a possibility for all. Without continued community support, FTEA could not exist.
